Important Key Items for Delta eCerts and the Agency AD Program for Phase 4

  • “S” Class is an Economy Class of service

Prior to March 19, Delta’s “S” Class was a Business Class of service. As of March 19, “ Z” Class is now Delta’s Business Class of service.  This change occurred during Phase 3 and all PNRs that were booked in “S” were converted to “Z”  Class. Click here to view the complete E-mail Extra for Phase 3 of Fare Class Alignment.

  • All complimentary Delta eCerts issued in “S” Class on/after March 20 will be valid for travel in the Economy Class cabin.

Delta Upgrade eCerts

A/Z Class

  • Effective March 19, for travel on/after March 20, “A” Class will be replaced with “G” Class.
  • For all reservations made prior to March 19, all “A” Class reservations will remain booked in ”A” Class.

o         There will not be a conversion process to rebook “A” Class reservations. They will remain booked in “A” Class (Therefore there may be reservations booked in A and Z Class instead of G and Z Class).

o         If a voluntary itinerary change is made to a PNR on/after March 20, the new reservation will need to be booked using the revised terms and conditions of the upgrade certificate, and the new classes of service which are G/Z Class.

  • Travel agents can view the most up-to-date terms and conditions for all Delta upgrade certificates on delta.com/redeem. The upgrade certificate number and redemption code are required.
  • Contact Delta’s Sales Support Center or Delta Reservations for assistance with questions regarding Delta eCert upgrade certificates.
