Due to heavy flooding in both Prague, Czech Republic (PRG) and Budapest, Hungary (BUD), Delta, Air France and KLM have issued travel exception policies. Please note: Details may differ due to local operational circumstances and limitations.
Delta is offering travel options for customers traveling to/from Prague (PRG) from June 4 through Jun 9, 2013 who wish to make a voluntary itinerary change because their flight plans may be impacted by the heavy flooding. To view the complete travel exception policy, please click here.
KLM is offering travel options for customers who wish to make a voluntary itinerary change because of the heavy flooding in Budapest, Hungary (BUD). Please note that KL/AF/DL flights will operate according their original schedule
Rebooking options apply to customers ticketed to/from/via Budapest (BUD) between Wednesday, June 5, 2013 up to and including Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Customers may re-schedule their travel, using the following guidelines:
Outbound Travel should occur no later than Sunday, 16 June 2013 – the original duration of stay may be preserved
All penalties/change fees may be waived, even if required by the ticketed fare basis.
One outbound and one inbound change is permitted
Re-booking is only permitted on alternate flights/dates in the ticketed booking class as stated
Fare differences must be collected in case of re-booking in a higher booking class, however all penalties/change fees may be waived
Re-booking/Re-issue must be completed by the end of the day on Sunday, 09 June 2013
KL Direct Sales points must re-issue tickets using FXI, except when an ADC is involved
Customers may use the full value of their existing tickets towards the purchase of new tickets to any destination at any AF/KL/DL fare, using the following guidelines:
All penalties/change fees may be waived, even if required by the ticketed fare basis
Re-booking/Re-issue/EMD issue must be done by the end of the day on Sunday, 09 June 2013
Residual value MCO's may not be issued at KL Direct Sales points, hence the same or a higher fare should be used
Non-refundable EMD's may be issued at AF/DL Direct Sales points only for the full value of the unused coupons (1/2 RT basis if applicable) of the existing ticket
The standard AFKL rebook matrix, service recovery and refund policy applies in case of cancelled/delayed flights
Full refunds may be offered in case of cancelled flights and flights delayed more than three hours
Travel agents can process refunds for fully un-used tickets directly in their GDS - refunds for partially used tickets may be requested via BSP link
The "trip in vain" principle applies to refunds, when customers choose to return to their point of origin
Travel agents may contact Delta Reservations or Sales Support for assistance as needed.

Due to heavy flooding in Prague (PRG) and Budapest (BUD), Air France has issued specific commercial instructions to allow voluntary rebooking options for customers who wish to change their journey. Customers ticketed to travel on the dates impacted may rebook their flights without penalty, regardless of the fare purchased.
Travel dates impacted: From June 4, 2013 through June 9, 2013
Destinations impacted: all flights to/from PRG and BUD
Rebook / Reissue / Refund on/before: June 9, 2013
Voluntary changes (flight scheduled to operate):
Rebooking in the ticketed booking class is permitted on AF/KL only for departures through June 16, 2013. If the original booking class is not available, book the next higher class and collect the applicable fare difference.
One outbound and one inbound change is permitted to maintain the original duration of stay.
For customers who wish to change their point of origin/destination, use the full value of the unused flight coupons towards the purchase of a new ticket to/from any origin/destination at any AF/KL fare, waiving any penalties and collecting any fare difference or refunding any residual amount in the form of a non-refundable EMD/MPD.
Refund according to fare rules. If the ticket is non-refundable, issue a non-refundable EMD/MPD for the full value of the unused flight coupons, valid for one year on Air France or KLM.
Tickets must be reissued by June 9, 2013.
Involuntary changes (flight cancelled or delayed by more than 5 hours for long-haul, more than 3 hours for short and medium-haul flights)
