Delta Air Lines is offering travel options for customers who wish to make a voluntary itinerary change because their flight plans may be impacted by the winter weather in the Northeast U.S.
ATTN WORLDSPAN (1P) USERS – Please note procedures below.
Note: DL/AF/KL policies may vary between carriers due to local operational circumstances and limitations.

Delta will waive administrative change fees and travel agents may rebook and reissue tickets provided the below guidelines are met and applied:
Applicable to tickets issued on or before: January 27, 2013
New travel must originate on or before: January 30, 2013
New travel must be rebooked no later than: January 30, 2013
Ticket must be reissued on or before: January 30, 2013

If customers are unable to rebook or reissue their ticket within the given timeline, they can cancel their reservation and use the value of the ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket for a period of one year from the date of original issuance.

o Use Waiver code 01271N for rebooking cabin to cabin
o Use Waiver code 01271C to waive change fee only, provided:
§ New itinerary is rebooked/ ticketed within all parameters of this policy
§ New itinerary is priced at current applicable fares and rules

Connecting customers’ enroute to one of the above-listed destinations or whose flights are diverted should work directly with the airport to rebook their travel.
If a customer’s flight is cancelled due to this event, and no other alternate flights are acceptable, travel agents may refund a totally unused non-refundable ticket(s) through normal ARC/BSP processing.

Travel dates impacted: on January 28, 2013
Destinations / Flights impacted: all flights to and from New York- Kennedy, NY (JFK),New York- La Guardia, NY (LGA), Newark, NJ (EWR), Newburgh , NY (SWF), White Plains, NY (HPN)
Rebook for travel in the ticketed booking class on AF/KL only on or before January 30, 2013.
If this booking class is not available, rebook in a higher booking class and collect the fare difference.
- When disruption occurs on the outbound flight, the inbound date may be changed to preserve the original duration of the stay.
- All penalties/change fees may be waived, even if required by the ticketed fare basis.
- New date of travel may be earlier than original ticketed, within above guidelines.
- One outbound and one inbound change is permitted.
- Rebooking/Reissue on or before: January 29, 2013
- Award tickets: same services as revenue passengers.
- Tickets with a non commercial discount with a reservation: same services as revenue passengers.
Fare conditions apply. If ticket is not refundable, you may issue a NON REF EMD/MPD of the full value of unused flight coupons, valid for 1 year on AF/KL.
- If refund is permitted by fare conditions, the travel agents can process refunds for fully unused tickets directly in their GDS. Refunds for partially used tickets may be requested via BSP link.
