Delta Resumes Daily Seasonal Service between New York–JFK and Shannon

(May 10, 2013) – Delta’s seasonal nonstop service between New York-JFK and Shannon, Ireland resumes on May 10, 2013.

The flight will operate daily throughout the peak summer season using a Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 170 seats in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France KLM.

In 2012, Delta carried a total of 47,486 passengers between the U.S. and Shannon on its summer service, with an average load factor of 91 percent on the route.

Delta’s flight between JFK and Shannon features 15 seats in BusinessElite. The aircraft is also equipped with Economy Comfort, Delta’s premium economy cabin product. Customers flying in Economy Comfort benefit from up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Delta’s standard Economy class seat, as well as priority boarding.

Delta is making a number of significant investments in its products and services to improve its customers’ experience on the ground and in the air. These include Delta’s state-of-the-art, $1.4 billion Terminal 4 at New York-JFK that will open on May 24. Customers flying between New York-JFK and Ireland this summer will benefit from a greatly enhanced airport experience on arrival and departure at the airport. One of the largest terminals in North America, Terminal 4 offers travelers a spacious environment with a wide variety of shopping and dining options. For BusinessElite customers, the Delta Sky Club at Terminal 4 features a Sky Deck – an outdoor airport terrace offering unprecedented runway views.

Delta reprend un service quotidien saisonnier entre New York-JFK et Shannon

(Le 10 mai 2013) - Le service saisonnier sans escale de Delta entre New York-JFK et Shannon, en Irlande, reprend le 10 mai 2013.

Tout au long de la saison estivale de pointe, la liaison quotidienne sera assurée par un Boeing 757-200 de 170 sièges, conjointement avec Air France KLM, partenaire de Delta.

Le vol Delta entre JFK et Shannon compte 15 sièges en classe BusinessElite. L’avion dispose également d’une cabine Economy Comfort, la classe économique plus de Delta. Les passagers qui voyagent en classe Economy Comfort ont jusqu’à dix centimètres de plus pour étendre leurs jambes, ils disposent de 50 pour cent d’inclinaison supplémentaire par rapport aux sièges de la classe économique standard de Delta et bénéficient d’un embarquement prioritaire.

Delta procède actuellement à un certain nombre d’investissements importants dans ses produits et services, afin d’améliorer l’expérience de ses clients au sol et en vol.
