Delta to Resume Seasonal Nonstop Service Between New York-JFK and Istanbul

Airline offering up to 3,000 weekly seats to and from Istanbul

(April 26, 2013) - Delta Air Lines’ seasonal nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy airport and Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport will recommence on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

The flight will operate daily throughout the peak summer season using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 209 seats in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France KLM.

In 2012, Delta carried a total of 103,049 passengers between Turkey and the U.S. on its summer service, with an average load factor of 86 percent on the route.

Delta’s flight from Istanbul features 35 seats in BusinessElite and customers will have the opportunity to experience Delta’s award-winning service, including innovative food offerings from celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein and original wine selections chosen by Delta’s Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. BusinessElite also features on-demand personal in-seat entertainment boasting more than 20 first-run and popular classic movies, a variety of television programs, thousands of music titles and a suite of video games. The aircraft is also equipped with Economy Comfort, Delta’s premium economy product. Customers flying in Economy Comfort benefit from up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Delta’s standard Economy class seat, as well as priority boarding.

La compagnie aérienne propose jusqu’à 3 000 sièges hebdomadaires au départ et à destination d’Istanbul

(26 avril 2013) - Delta Air Lines reprendra samedi 27 avril 2013 son service saisonnier sans escale entre l’aéroport John F. Kennedy de New York et l’aéroport international Atatürk d’Istanbul.
 
Tout au long de la saison estivale de pointe, la liaison quotidienne sera assurée par un Boeing 767-300 de 209 sièges, conjointement avec  Air France-KLM, partenaire de Delta.

En 2012, le service estival de Delta a permis à la compagnie d’assurer en tout le transport de 103 049 passagers entre la Turquie et les États-Unis, avec un coefficient d’occupation moyen de 86 %.
 
Le vol Delta au départ d’Istanbul offrant 35 sièges BusinessElite, les clients pourront profiter du service primé de Delta, notamment de plats gastronomiques innovants préparés par la célèbre chef Michelle Bernstein, ainsi que d’un choix de vins exclusifs sélectionnés par Andrea Robinson, maître sommelier de Delta. Les passagers de la classe BusinessElite pourront également profiter depuis leur siège de divertissements personnels offerts sur demande, notamment de plus de 20 films diffusés en exclusivité et de célèbres films classiques, un choix d’émissions télévisées, des milliers de titres de chansons et une large sélection de jeux vidéo. L’appareil dispose également d’une cabine Economy Comfort, la classe économique plus de Delta. Les passagers voyageant en classe Economy Comfort ont jusqu’à 10 centimètres de plus pour étendre leurs jambes et 50 % d’inclinaison supplémentaire par rapport aux sièges de la classe économique standard, et bénéficient aussi d’un embarquement prioritaire.
