Alitalia suspends flights to and from Tripoli through October 25, 2014 and updates its re-protection policy for customers due to the political unrest in Libya.
All Alitalia flights to and from Tripoli, Libya (TIP) will be cancelled between July 13, 2014 and October 25, 2014. Due to these flight cancellations, Alitalia will allow customers who are booked and ticketed on an affected Alitalia flight to or from TIP to re-book without penalty on AZ marketed and operated flights or AZ-marketed, AP/XM/VE/CT- operated flights in the same booking class if available or in the same cabin on the first available flight. In addition, customers may reroute TIP itineraries and travel to/from Tunis (TUN) as alternative to TIP.
