Billing

What is eBilling?

Delta Cargo’s preferred billing method for U.S. customers is a web-based invoice system called eBilling. Once registered, authorized users can access invoices, air waybills, and monthly statements on a 24/7 basis.

Why should I use eBilling?

Online access to invoicing provides your company the benefit of accounting for expenses on a more timely and accurate basis. It eliminates delays from the postal service. For your convenience, eBilling also offers the option of electronically downloading your invoice and statement information.

Am I eligible for eBilling?

eBilling is available for U.S. customers that are not members of CNS. It is not available to customers outside of the U.S.

How do I sign up for eBilling?

To receive a User ID for Cargo eBilling, you must complete the Online Registration Request form and provide your Delta Cargo account number. You must first be a Known Shipper to be issued an account number. To apply for credit, you must complete the Cargo Credit application.

If I am a U.S. customer, how often will I be invoiced by Delta Cargo?

Customers billed through CNS will receive invoices based on the CNS billing periods. Non-CNS customers are invoiced weekly for any AWBs processed since the last invoice. Invoices are typically available on the eBilling web site each Monday.

How will I be invoiced if I am a customer outside of the U.S. ?

Delta Cargo has a variety of billing methods for customers outside of the U.S. If you are invoiced through CASS, the CASS billing periods will apply. Your local Delta Cargo sales office will be able to answer any specific questions regarding changes to your billing method.

Will I be able to short pay due to service failures on my Delta Cargo account as I did on my NWA Cargo account?

No, you should pay the invoice for the shipping charges in full and file for a service level refund.

Will I be able to short pay due to billing errors on my Delta Cargo account as I did on my NWA Cargo account?

Yes, you can short pay, with a detailed explanation if you are invoiced incorrectly. If you have already submitted your payment and subsequently determine that you were billed incorrectly, you can submit an online claim.

What happens if I don't pay my NWA Cargo bill?

You are obligated to pay all outstanding invoices. Should you not satisfy outstanding charges, normal channels will be used to collect the funds. Failure to pay may impact your ability to tender future shipments to Delta Cargo.

Where do I send payment?

Please be aware that your remittance address may change. Due to varying billing cycles, you may receive invoices from Delta Cargo and NWA Cargo for a short period of time. To avoid potential misapplication of your payment, please remit to the address found on each invoice you receive.
