Abimael Ortiz

Abimael Ortiz is the Regional Director Cargo Sales for Delta Air Lines. As Regional Director, Abi is responsible for the sales activity and planning of Delta’s Cargo Sales in Latin America and Caribbean. In particular, he oversees the day to day activities of Regional Sales Managers, General Sales Agents, and Freight Forwarders in Latin America and the Caribbean. He also supports new international station openings and directs development of sales strategies for the specified city while working closely with the Cargo Operations team to ensure financial performance and customer service objectives are achieved.

Abi joined Delta in 1987 as Customer Service Agent and has assumed various leadership roles and responsibilities in the customer service, operations, and sales organizations.

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Abi now resides in Atlanta with his wife Sonya and daughter Brittany.
