Myles Nichols

Myles Nichols, Managing Director - Global Operations, is responsible for delivering superior service to the Delta and Alliance partner customers worldwide. Achieving this objective is the direct result of Delta’s frontline professional cargo handlers.

Myles joined Delta Cargo (formerly Northwest Cargo) in 2000 to lead the express freighter operation in and out of the Ohio Valley. He left Cargo to lead the TechOps Quality Assurance and Aircraft Reliability programs, and serve as the primary liaison with the FAA. Myles then went on to manage the corporate Compliance and Quality Programs at Northwest.

During the Northwest and Delta Merger, Myles was a key member of the Single Operations Certificate effort. In this role, he was instrumental in developing the integration strategy, interfacing with the FAA and overall project management responsibility.

Prior to joining Delta, Myles learned the Cargo business from the ground up in the freight forwarding industry, holding various positions in operations and sales. Complimenting his freight forwarding experience, Myles also held various sales and operations positions with DHL. During his tenure at DHL, Myles was instrumental in establishing Detroit as an international transfer operation.

Myles is based in Atlanta.
