Steve Friedrichs

Steve Friedrichs is Delta's Director - North American Operations. With thirty years of industry experience, including twenty years with FedEx and twelve years with Northwest Airlines Cargo, Steve brings a wealth of leadership and cargo knowledge to his position. He has extensive global experience in both the operational and sales arenas, and has worked closely with business partners KLM, Japan Airlines and DHL Express in supporting past and present global alliances and joint ventures.

With a passion for quality service, Steve recently led a team of Delta and Northwest employees that has fully integrated ninety percent of all Delta North American cargo locations. He also led an internal NWA Cargo team that improved and sustained freighter reliability to industry standards.

Steve has a proven track record of empowering employees by creating a work environment, that recognizes and rewards employees for teamwork and outstanding customer service. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from National Louis University, Evanston, IL.
