At Delta Air Lines, we are looking towards the future...this is where you come in. The Delta Intern/Co-op program, consisting of internships and co-operative education opportunities, was developed to provide a benefit to both the Company and participating students. While Delta receives assistance from talented students with projects and an expanded candidate pool for future full-time hiring, participating students receive real business experience and a valuable look at future careers. In addition, students who have participated in a Co-op or Intern program also increase their marketability for full-time positions upon graduation.
The Intern Program provides students with hands-on experience and professional growth in their field of study. Internships often enhance the skills and theory that students learn in the classroom and may qualify as course credit.
The intern program is a one-semester/quarter work assignment.
All interns are paid and are eligible for Delta's Family & Friends Travel Certificates. Housing information is also available.
Intern positions are available year-round at the undergraduate level and during the summers at the graduate level.
For many participants, the Co-op program is comprised of a minimum of four quarters or three semesters of work assignments equating to one year of related work experience. This schedule gives students hands-on training in their field of study. Our Co-op work schedule allows students to alternate between a quarter/semester of full-time classroom study and a quarter/semester of full-time Co-op employment.
Delta partners with colleges and universities that support a formal, accredited Cooperative Education program which offers students the flexibility to rotate between school and work for multiple semesters.
Co-op students must be enrolled in an accredited university. Co-op students are paid a salary during their work term and are eligible for travel privileges, paid holidays, and membership in the Delta Employees Credit Union. Direction on how to seek Student Housing is also available.
Co-op positions are at the undergraduate level only.
